Vicky Lynn Cozart Reed 62, of Canada, Ky., passed away Friday February 12, 2010 at her residence. She was born January 4, 1948 in Charles City, Iowa to the late Lester and Ella Cozart. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years; Eddie Dean Reed, her father-in-law; Lafayette Reed and her mother-in-law; Kansas Reed. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons; Tracy (Sheila) Schwerin of Chattaroy, W.V., Thomas (Julie) Reed of Kimper, Ky., and Tony Reed of Canada, Ky., two daughters; Theresa Smith of Meta, Ky., and Tammy Reed of Canada, Ky., one brother; Tom (Lorrie) Cozart of Readlyn, Iowa two sister-in-laws; Wanda (Mike) Wells of Kimper, Ky., and Rita (Jake) Howell of Pikeville, Ky., four brother-in-laws; Dewey Bruce (Debbie) Reed of Canada, Ky., John Fitch (Jane) Reed of Pikeville, Ky., Terry (Ilene) Reed of Allen, Ky. and Ricky Reed of Turkey Creek, Ky., seven grandchildren; Debra Elkins, Stephanie Stanley, Amber Stanley, Madison Robinson, Cody Schwerin, Tyler Schwerin and Dalton Smith and a host of Family and Friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Tuesday February 16, 2010 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow at Howell-Reed Cemetery of Canada, Ky. with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers. Visitaton will be after 6 P.M. Sunday night and Monday night at R. E.
