Steven Russell Ward, 43 of Raleigh, N.C. formerly of Williamson, WV
passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Rex Hospital, Raleigh, N.C.
He was born May 29, 1966 in Williamson, WV the son of Bonnie Rose Francis Ward of Williamson, WV and the late William Russell Ward. He was also preceded in death by his beloved son, Steven William Ward.
Steven was a Maintenance Technician for Drucker & Faulk Corp. and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.
Besides his Mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Victoria Lynn Marcum Ward of Raleigh, N.C.; two very special cousins, Brian (Michelle) Lowe and Mitchell (Amanda) Lowe all of Sidney, Ky.; neice and nephew, Terri and Jesse Anderson of Raleigh, N.C; great neice and nephew, Hailey and Hunter Anderson of Raleigh, N.C. and a host of other family and friends and very special friends from Raleigh, N.C.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, March 5, 2010 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowe Family Cemetery, Sidney, Ky. with Mitchell Lowe, Brian Lowe, Frank Altice, Avery Marcum, Dewey Marcum and Chris Marcum serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held after 6 PM Wednesday and Thursday at R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with special services both nights at 7 P.M. R.E.
